Celebrating 50 years young: Clare’s unforgettable ride for animal welfare

Age is just a number when it comes to making a difference for animal welfare – when Clare turned 50, she decided to celebrate this milestone by taking on an incredible challenge, riding 50 miles on her horse Syd to raise money for the Animal Welfare Foundation.

Clare decided to dedicate her special day to supporting animal welfare research and education, so that all animals in the UK can enjoy a better life. Armed with the help of her 20-year-old horse Syd and support of 20 week old puppy Cody, Clare set out to ride 50 miles and raised an incredible £330.

“Last year, Syd did his first endurance rides and so, he’s in charge of the action!” says Clare. “I’m not sure I’ll be able to walk Cody after riding 50 miles!” she added.
