Alina Nayton

Alina is AWF’s Grants and Events Officer and joined in August 2023. She has worked in the animal welfare field for nearly 15 years and has a master’s degree in animal science from the University of Melbourne. In Australia, Alina worked at the RSPCA, the Animal Welfare Science Centre, Wildlife Victoria, the Lost Dog’s Home, Seeing Eye Dogs, and in the animal welfare branch of the Victorian government. She’s new to the UK and is looking forward to exploring her new home and travelling!

Erika has been AWF’s Manager since 2018. She has a background in languages, education and administration. Erika has a wealth of experience working in the charity, media, retail and finance sectors in operations, governance and strategy, project management, marketing and communications and events. She has a love of nature and all animals and her desire to positively influence animal welfare led her to join AWF back in 2015!

Marine is AWF’s Marketing Communications Officer and joined the AWF Team in February 2023. She’s an enthusiastic, determined and accomplished events, fundraising and communications professional with over seven years experience in the not-for-profit sector. She’s a creative and driven individual, who is passionate about sustainable development, animal protection and conservation. She has a dog named Frankie and two cats, Molly and Blanche; all her pets are rescues!
